Core security concepts, the CIA triad, and how networks and traffic actually move.
Week 2
Operating Systems & Endpoint Security
Windows and Linux fundamentals from a security perspective, including logs and processes.

Introduction to SIEM Tooling
Hands-on with SIEM platforms: dashboards, log ingestion, and alert configuration.
Week 4
Log Analysis & Alert Triage
How to read logs critically and separate real threats from noise.

Applied SOC operations
Weeks 5 to 8
Week 5
Incident Detection & Investigation
Working through real-world alert scenarios from detection to root cause.
Week 6
Threat Intelligence & MITRE ATT&CK
Mapping attacker behavior to the MITRE ATT&CK framework for faster response.
Week 7
Incident Response & Escalation
Response procedures, documentation, and when and how to escalate.
Week 8
Capstone Simulation & Certification
A full mock-SOC simulation, followed by your final certification assessment.

Do I need any prior IT or security experience?
No. The first month is built for people starting from zero. We cover the networking and security fundamentals you need before moving into SOC-specific tooling.
How much time do I need each week?
Plan for live sessions plus lab practice. Most learners spend 8 to 10 hours per week between class time and hands-on exercises.
What happens if I miss a live session?
Every session is recorded, so you can catch up before the next class. Live attendance is still encouraged for the hands-on labs and Q&A.
